The Colonies Swim Team is a summer swim team of approximately 140 swimmers aged 18 and younger who reside in The Colonies at Wilde Lake and surrounding neighborhoods. Established in 1992, our team competes in Division I of the Greater Richmond Aquatic League.
Our mission is to provide a safe, positive and fun summer swim environment for swimmers of all skill levels.
Our team is a great introduction to the sport for first-time swimmers. Swimmers of all levels of competition are welcome, but must be able to swim the length of the pool (25m) without stopping, touching the pool bottom, or hanging on the lane line or side wall.
