Meet Declaration, Volunteer Shifts, Rained Out
Hello Cruisers! We hope to actually get in the water tomorrow if it's warm enough and the water quality cooperates. We will see....watch for your Rained Out notifications. Let me know if you aren't subscribed to Rained Out and we will get you set up.
Tip for our new families: goggles are almost a necessity. The NOVA Swim Shop can take care of that.
Volunteer Job Shifts: Need to check what volunteer jobs you signed up for? Sign into our website, https://colonies.swimtopia.com and you will see the "Welcome xxxx" tab at the upper right side of the website. Select "My Account" under that tab and you will see your volunteer meet shifts.
Meet Attendance Declaration: It is crucial that the coaches know who is and isn't available to swim at each meet. Our website has a Meet Attendance Declaration feature which allows you declare your swimmers's availability for swim meets. You may already know if there are certain meets that your swimmers cannot attend. The deadline to declare for attendance is usually 3 days prior to the meet. We have now opened up the Meet Declaration for all six swim meets, and the process is as follows:
Click the "Swim Meets" tab
Select the "Meet Entry" button next to the swim meet you wish to declare for.
Edit your attendance declaration for that meet, and indicate your swimmer's availability for relays.
Questions and recommendations are welcome! Just reply to this email.
Thanks and GO CRUISERS!
