| We currently have the following volunteer opportunities open for the 2019
season:
TWO SPIRIT COORDINATORS—Organizes breakfast and a craft/activity for swimmers in conjunction with morning practice on the day of all swim meets. Organizes refreshments and activities for Kick Off Party. Additional parent volunteers will sign up on the team website to help with these events. Volunteering for a Spirit Coordinator position satisfies ALL volunteer requirements for the season! If you are interested in filling this role, please email Stacey Carlson at [email protected] Certified Officials-- We still need parents to begin training for the positions of Head Clerk of Course, Starter, and Strokes & Turns Judges. This is a great way to satisfy all your volunteer obligations for the season and become more involved in your child's sport. Important Information:
In order for your swim team registration to be finalized, you must pay your Colonies Swim & Tennis Club (CSTC) annual dues, and any initiation fees, prior to the first practice.
- Personalized swim cap orders will be taken online during registration process--$30.00 for a set of TWO printed with the same name.
- Deadline for personalized cap orders will be MAY 10th.
- Registration fees: $95 per swimmer with a $240 family cap (credit card online or check).
- In order to complete your registration, you will need to sign up for the following volunteer obligations to accumulate the required 61 volunteer points: Six meet shifts and one concession donation
- If you need to swap a volunteer shift after initial registration, please contact other swimming families to find someone to switch shifts. It is your responsibility to find a replacement, not the volunteer coordinator's.

May 20th—Tentative first day of practice
May 29th—Suit fitting day at the VA Swim Shop (on Gayton Road at NOVA)

Meet #6 (TUES) July 16: Home vs Chestnut Oaks
July 24th—(tentative) End of Season Party
