We have a mix of new and returning coaches for 2019. Announcing our coaching staff for 2019:

Head Coach:

Mac has been with the Colonies Swim Team for 25 summers. 14 years as a swimmer, 5 years as an assistant coach, 1 year as computer rep, and now this will be his 5th year as the head coach. Currently, Mac teaches math at Deep Run High School where he also coaches the swim team.

This will be Ana's second year coaching as she was an assistant coach for the Twin Hickory Aquatics Team last summer. She has participated in club and summer swimming since she was 6 years old, graduated from Deep Run High School in 2018, and continued her academics and swimming career at George Mason University.

Lauren Underwood [email protected]

Lauren is so excited to be a swim coach for the Colonies this summer. She has been a year-round swimmer at NOVA for 9 years now and has swam summer league for 11 years! She will be a senior at Deep Run High this up coming school year and has been on the Deep Run swim team all 3 years with Mac as the head coach. She looks forward to joining the Colonies family and getting to know all the swimmers!
