Sadly that's a wrap on the longest winning streak in Colonies history at 20 wins in a row.  But even in defeat, I'm really proud of how well everyone swam last night.  We had about 80 swimmers for the meet while Ashcreek had 130+ swimmers.  Being down around 50 swimmers and only losing by 71pts is crazy and that's because every single swimmer put in their best efforts.  Next week vs Wellesley should be a good one as both teams have similar sized rosters. 

Ribbons: If you have an 8 and Under swimmer who has not received a participation ribbon (rainbow colored) yet they will be in their ribbon boxes soon. We ordered a new batch of them and are just waiting on them at this moment. Once we have them, I'll start putting them in the ribbon boxes or handing them out to swimmers at practices. 

Champs: As of Meet 2, we have 19 swimmers qualified for champs! Congrats to those that have qualified and can't wait to see who else joins the list of swimmers that can swim at champs. 

Friday Practice/Clinic: Tomorrow morning we will have normal practice. For the afternoon, we will hold a clinic from 3pm-4pm.  I usually have a signup sheet but didn't get around to it this week. This weeks clinic we will focus on flip turns . This will be open to all swimmers not in the beginners group as I want the beginners to just focus on 25 back and 25 free for now.
