The superhero team of the Colonies Cruisers avenges their loss of last week with a big win vs local rival Wellesley.
Congrats to everyone on the big win last night. A lot of personal best swims, some swimmers swimming an event or stroke for the very first time, and more champs qualifiers all happened last night. A few shoutouts:
1. Say thanks to the whole lifeguard staff that helped set the pool up for the meet. It's a lot of stuff to move and set up in the hot sun. When I should up and to see it ready to go was amazing to see.
2. Thanks to everyone who worked the meet last night. For those that been around the summer league for a while, ending a meet at 9:05 pm has to be a new record for us. None of that would have been possible without all of your help. Especially for the first home meet of the season, what you all did last night still has left me in awe. Thank you!
3. Thank you to all the families that help clean up the pool as well. The lifeguard staff and the coaches as well can't thank you enough for helping move all the tables, chairs, benches, barrier blocks, etc. to put the pool back to normal.
RSVP: With the next meet being on Tuesday, I need all RSVPs to be in by Saturday night. Meet entries need to be done on Sunday because they have to be completely done and submitted to Atlee no later than 8 pm on Monday. So the sooner you RSVP the better.
