We are very excited to announce our coaches for our 2021 summer swim season!

Julia Shelton – Head Coach

Hi Cruisers! My name is Julia Shelton, and I am so excited to be returning to coach for another swim season! I swam on the Colonies for 13 years, along with swimming on my high school team until college. I am now going into my junior year at Virginia Tech studying marketing and entrepreneurship. I cannot wait for this summer and to work with this awesome team of coaches to bring you all a fun and exciting swim team experience. Go Cruisers!

Connor Hennesey – Assistant Coach

Hey cruisers! My name is Connor Hennesey and I am thrilled to be coaching again this summer. I'm a rising junior at Godwin High School, where I am a part of the varsity cross country and track team. This year will be my 10th year swimming and my 2nd year coaching! I had such a fun summer coaching last year and I'm looking forward to making this summer even more fun! I'm eager to meet all of the new swimmers and see all of the swimmers from last summer! I can't wait to get started. Go Cruisers!

Annabelle Young – Assistant Coach

Hey Cruisers! My name is Annabelle Young and I am one of the assistant coaches for the upcoming season! This is my second season coaching for the Colonies and I am so excited to come back and coach y’all again! I am going into my freshman year at University of Cincinnati and I will be studying Criminal Justice. I had so much fun last season and can’t wait to see what this summer brings! I am so excited to work with Coach Julia, Coach Connor, and Coach Luke! Go Cruisers!!

Luke Munro – Junior Coach

Hi! My name is Luke Munro, and it has always been my dream to be a coach for the Colonies Cruisers! I am a rising junior at Deep Run High School and currently swim for Nova Aquatics! Although new to swimming all year around, this will be my ninth year swimming for the Colonies and I am beyond excited! I look forward to seeing you all, and helping you become the best Cruisers you can be!
