Swim-a-Thon!

The Swim-A-Thon is a volunteer event to raise proceeds for a local charity by swimming laps sponsored by family and friends. This event is open to all CSTC families! This year, we will be swimming to raise money for the families of the The Ronald McDonald House of Richmond!

This FUNdraising splash begins on Friday, June 24th at 10:30 AM with the 13 and over swimmers ready to spend the next 24 hours swimming in shifts while raising money from sponsor pledges.

Then on Saturday, June 25th, the 12 and under Cruisers dive in and swim sponsored laps to show their support for the Ronald McDonald House of Richmond.

We conclude the Swim-a-Thon on Saturday with a a relay from 10:45-11:00 A.M. followed by a celebration donut party for all swimmers!

13+ swimmers: $45 to register + pledged donations

12 and under- $5 to register + pledged donation

Registration will go live next week, so be on the lookout for the email! Feel free to contact Cheryl Munro AKA, Coach Luke's mom at [email protected] for further details.

Important*****Parent volunteers are required for both events.

For the 13 and over swimmers, parents will sign up for a 2 hour shift to count laps. The shift times are 5:00 pm-5:00 am! You read that correctly :). The coaches count laps during the rest of the event, so we can do this! In fact, our family has done this every year for the past 7-8 years. It's not as bad as it sounds. If we get enough volunteers, we can drop the shifts to 1 hour each instead of 2. It's a great cause and worth the 2 hours parents :)!!!!

For the 12 and under swimmers, please have a parent/volunteer count your child's laps.

We will have chairs, clip boards, pencils, lap counting sheets available and music!

We can't wait to see you all there. This is truly a fun way for our kids to raise money to support other kiddos and families in need. Thank you for continuing this tradition!
