Happy Friday, Cruisers!

Congratulations on another great meet last night! We had a lot of best times, fun races, and great team spirit. The final score was: Colonies 1004, Church Run 1254.  The pdf with meet results is attached to this email.

A big thank you to all of our volunteers, we couldn’t have made the meet run without you all! Particularly with having to move the meet to our rain date, we appreciate your flexibility to make the meet happen. :)

A few reminders and announcements for the next few days:

1. The 12 and under swim-a-thon is tomorrow morning! Please refer back to the emails sent earlier today and over the past week for more information.
2. All ribbons from the past two meets are here! They will be handed out at practice on Monday.  If your swimmer(s) are unable to make it to practice Monday, ribbons will be in the ribbon boxes located underneath the bulletin board by the restrooms.  They will remain there for the rest of the season.
3. Meet RSVPs for meet 3 at home vs. Burkwood are due by 11:59pm tonight. Please remember that swimmers will not be entered into events or relays if I do not receive an RSVP by tonight.  Feel free to email me if you have an extenuating circumstance that prevents you from RSVPing by tonight!

Coach Connor’s Spash Awards for this week! :)

Three swimmers were awarded with “Splash Awards” for their superb spirit, sportsmanship, and speed! The spirit splash award was given to… Ibby Keen! The sportsmanship award was given to… Delaney Settar! Finally, the speed splash award was given to… Max Laurence! Coach Connor has your prizes and will be handing them out on Monday. Great job cruisers!

Three more will be awarded on Thursday morning after the meet, so encourage your kiddos to show off their spirit, sportmanship, and speed at the meet on Wednesday!
