Meet #4 Important Information & End of Season Info

Hey Cruisers!

We are traveling to Canterbury tomorrow so here is the link to their Welcome Letter with a lot of helpful information!  **Pay close attention to the Concessions section and the Parking section of the letter.  There are two different concession options--the one with more dinner food choices is CASH ONLY and the one with more snacks and treats is CASHLESS. Please come prepared :)  If the parking lot fills up, there are detailed suggestions on what streets to park on (AVOID parking on Pump Road).

Also, the Canterbury Parent Rep shared with me that this swim meet will be dedicated to Lucia Bremer (she was murdered in March of 2021 right near Godwin HS).  She should be celebrating her 17th birthday this week.  In her honor, their team will be "wearing as much green as possible," which was her favorite color.  Canterbury has invited us to join them in this "Green Out" to remember Lucia and to celebrate her life.

Additional bits of important information:

  • Personalized Caps are IN!!  If you ordered them, I will have them at the swimmer check-in table at Canterbury!
  • Mark you calendars and remember to RSVP your family for the End of Season Awards Ceremony (7/17)!
  • There will be NO PRACTICE on July 5th!
  • Regular practice has been extended beyond Meet #6! MORNING ONLY practices for the entire team will continue through Wednesday, (7/17).
  • Champs qualifiers can practice both in the mornings and afternoons.  Champs afternoon practice times are as follows:  10 & Unders 4-5pm; 11 & Overs 5-6pm  Champs practices will run through Friday (7/19).

Let me know if you have any questions!
