Hello Cruisers!  A few updates as we prepare to start the season...

Kickoff ice cream social is tomorrow, June 4 from 3-5. There aren't any scheduled activities so just come hang out with your teammates and swim. Ice cream will be served in the back near the restrooms. Please note if you signed up to help. There will not be a team picture, that is scheduled for the first spirit breakfast. 

Our first meet is about a week away!  It will be Monday June 12 at Wellesley (more details next week). PLEASE RSVP!  The coaches put so much time into balancing events and it's much better if they know for sure who is there. Please respond either yes or no, not just leave blank. A yes RSVP is the only way for a swimmer to be relay eligible. 

Please remember that the coaches pick the events for our team. They balance what's best for the swimmer and the team and it may involve an event your swimmer is uncomfortable with. The coaches want everyone to try every event they can do and they also want to win the meet for our team. If there's a medical reason your swimmer can't do a certain stroke, please let a coach know ahead of time. 

On relays - they may not always put the fastest 4 swimmers in the A relay. Again this is a method that looks at what's best for the team.
